Belle Âme Skin and Beauty Lounge Studio Policies

Your safety, comfort, and satisfaction are our top priorities at Belle Âme Skin and Beauty Lounge. Before booking your appointment, please review our studio policies for lash extensions, permanent makeup, camouflage techniques, and facial waxing services.


Qualifications for Procedures

For your safety and optimal results, you are not eligible for any of the following services if any of the conditions below apply:

Permanent Makeup, Microneedling & Camouflage:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Sunburned
  • Eczema in the treatment area
  • Used Accutane in the past 12 months
  • Received Botox injections within the last month (wait at least 1 month before booking)
  • Diagnosed with epilepsy
  • Currently undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor before scheduling)
  • Diabetic (a doctor’s note is required)
  • Diagnosed with HIV, Hepatitis, or Jaundice

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies for Permanent Makeup, Microneedling & Camouflage:

  • Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling: You may transfer your deposit once if rescheduling is done at least 48 hours before your appointment.
  • No-Shows: If you miss your rescheduled appointment, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Lash Extensions:

  • Eye infections, irritation, or swelling
  • Allergies to lash extension materials or adhesive
  • Recent eye surgeries (consult your doctor before booking)
  • Unhealed eyelid conditions or injuries

Note: If you arrive at your appointment with any of the above conditions or without the required doctor’s note, your deposit will be forfeited.

Lash Extension Maintenance:

To ensure the best application results, please arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes. Lash extension appointments may require regular touch-ups (refills) every 2–3 weeks to maintain your desired look.

Cancellation Policy for lash Extensions:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lash appointment. Failure to do so may result in a 50% cancellation fee for the service.

No-Shows for lashes:

  • A 100% charge will apply for missed appointments.

Lash Lift, Brow Lamination & Tinting Policy:

  • Eye infections, irritation, or swelling
  • Allergies to tinting or perming solutions
  • Recent eye surgeries (consult your doctor before booking)
  • Unhealed eyelid conditions or injuries
  • Eyebrow infections, irritation, or swelling
  • Recent brow treatments (consult your technician if unsure)
  • Unhealed eyebrow injuries or conditions

Cancellation Policy for lash lift and tint & brow lamintation and tinting:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lash appointment. Failure to do so may result in a 50% cancellation fee for the service.

No-Shows:

  • A 100% charge will apply for missed appointments.

Waxing Policies (Facial Waxing)

Pre-Waxing Preparation:

  • Skin Condition: Ensure your skin is free from any lotions, oils, or makeup on the day of your waxing appointment.
  • Hair Length: Your hair should be at least 1/4 inch long for the best results. Waxing may be less effective if your hair is too short.
  • Avoid Sun Exposure: We recommend avoiding sun exposure or tanning beds at least 24 hours prior to your waxing appointment to reduce skin sensitivity.

Health & Safety:

  • Medical Conditions: Please notify your technician if you have any skin conditions or are on medication, including acne, rosacea, eczema, or active skin infections.
  • Pregnancy: Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy but may cause increased sensitivity. Please inform your technician if you are pregnant.
  • Recent Procedures: If you’ve had a chemical peel, laser treatment, or microdermabrasion within the past 48 hours, we recommend postponing your waxing appointment for optimal results.

During Your Waxing Appointment:

  • Communication: If you experience any discomfort, feel free to communicate with your technician. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities.
  • Avoid Touching: For hygiene and safety, please refrain from touching the waxed area during and after your session.

Waxing Aftercare:

  • Avoid Heat: After waxing, avoid hot showers, saunas, or strenuous exercise for 24 hours to minimize irritation and prevent ingrown hairs.
  • Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the waxed area a few days after your appointment to prevent ingrown hairs. Do not exfoliate on the same day.
  • Sun Protection: The skin may be more sensitive to the sun post-waxing, so apply an SPF 30 or higher to protect the area from sun damage.

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your waxing appointment. Failure to do so may result in a 50% cancellation fee for the service.

No-Shows for Waxing:

  • A 100% charge will apply for missed appointments.

Client Consent & Acknowledgment

By scheduling an appointment with us, you consent to the selected procedure(s) and agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided by your technician.
