Day 1: Introduction to Camouflage Tattooing and the Inkless Method
On the first day, students will be introduced to the world of camouflage tattooing. The course begins with a review of blood-borne pathogens and safety procedures, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and proper sanitation. Students will also explore the psychological effects of camouflage tattoos and learn about various types of scars and stretch marks. The day will cover essential topics such as client assessment, consultations, before-and-after photography, and the Fitzpatrick Scale for skin types and undertones. Students will gain a solid understanding of ink theory and color matching, using only six pigments. The day will include training on treatment area preparation, the Inkless method technique, and post-care instructions. Additionally, students will receive guidance on permits, licensing, insurance, and learn professional camouflage tattoo tips, including complementary training on radiation marker camouflage.
