Frequently Asked Questions
We wax eyebrows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns, and full face. Each area can be booked individually or combined. Eyebrow waxing includes shaping.
At least 3mm approximately 2 to 3 weeks of growth after shaving or 4 weeks after your last wax. Hair that is too short will not adhere to the wax properly.
Gently exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. Arrive with clean skin and no topical products on the areas to be waxed. Avoid sun exposure in the 24 hours before.
There is a brief sharp sensation as the wax is removed, followed by immediate relief. The upper lip is typically the most sensitive area. Discomfort reduces significantly with regular waxing as hair becomes finer over time.
Retinol, tretinoin, and prescription retinoids must be discontinued in the waxing area for 5 to 7 days before. Isotretinoin is a full contraindication wait at least 6 months after finishing. Active acne, sunburn, open wounds, eczema, or psoriasis in the treatment area are also contraindications.
For 24 to 48 hours: sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas, steam, swimming, and intense exercise. No makeup, retinol, acids, or fragranced skincare on waxed areas for at least 24 hours.
Most clients return every 3 to 5 weeks. With regular waxing, regrowth becomes finer and sparser over time.
